The New Jersey State Fair
Thursday, August 7th, 2008On Tuesday, New Jersey Network (NJN) News aired a report about this year’s New Jersey State Fair. In case you didn’t know the Garden State has a State Fair every year. Like those you would find in the Midwest, there are agricultural contests, live stock, entertainment and of course rides and other amusements. Plus there is a farmer’s market where you can get all sorts of good Jersey Fresh produce and other foods along with plants and other Garden State made products.
The fair, at The Sussex County Fairgrounds, runs through August 10th.
One fun thing about the NJN report is that one of the people they interview is from a neighboring state that some poor misguided souls think is on a par with New Jersey.
